Telling the story of safer pets and their owners

Telling the story of safer pets and their owners.

BRIEF: For 45 years Invisible Fence has remained the industry leader, pioneering advanced technology and innovative electronic pet containment solutions. While their brand reputation was top dog, their website was in dire need of a ground-up redesign.

BOTTOM LINE: A brand new website with more wag and less worry. In a little under 6 months, we completed a full-blown UX audit and user research phase and launched a brand new, full-screen, video-rich, user experience. Our clients, their franchisees, and pet owners everywhere were thrilled.

Discovery and Planning

Discovery and Planning

We kicked off the project by digging into the client-provided research and analytics. We augmented that data with some research work of our own by engaging stakeholders, franchise owners, and customers.
Deliverables included:
personas, heuristic evaluations, content audit, stakeholder interviews, call center records, and discovery workshops

Kicking Off a New Website in Style

Kicking off a new website in style

It's always an honor when the client asks your team to provide not just code and layered files, but the identity and branding components that make up a new website experience. Below is a quick look at the style guide we put together for the client and their in-house development and marketing teams.

Launch Party

I knew the project was a huge success when I was asked to reveal the new customer experience at the company's annual conference. We highlighted the presentation with the following video to demo the work to hundreds of eager franchise owners from across North America.

"Some people talk to animals. Not many listen though. That's the problem."
